A C17th century country oak coffer having carved fielded panels with geometric design surmounted atop with a large hinged top revealing open storage within, almost certainly West Country in origin

The stiles have lost about 4 inches from the bottom, and the original hinges have been replaced, and the lock and hasp are also missing, otherwise good and original
