Description

A good late 19th. Century camphor wood campaign travelling trunk with protective brass straps, corners and escutcheon plates. The lid is lifted by a sunken brass handle and the void interior offers a large storage area. To each end are metal carrying handles and this trunk benefits from dovetailed joints and working lock with key. Ideal size to be used as a coffee table. In good overall condition with 1or 2 bumps and bruises associated with age and use. Sizes:- Width...35''/ 89cm. Depth...17''/ 44cm. Height...17''/ 44cm. Delivery to most of U.K. £48.
