Handsome Art Deco Cut Glass And English Sterling Silver Inkwell

A really handsome vintage art deco inkwell, beautifully shaped and star cut on the underside. The collar and hinged lid is made from sterling silver and the top of the lid beautifully engine turned.
 
The silver is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1929 together with a makers mark for William Base and Sons.
 
Excellent undamaged condition measuring 2 3/4'' x 2 3/4'' x 2'' tall.
