Antique Early Georgian Country Oak Peg Joined Coffer Chest Box C1720 Wdb4312/22.7

Description

This is a lovely george 1st country oak coffer and dating from aorund 1720. It has a moulded edge to the top with brass escutcheon and four moulded panels to the front. It stands on squared and reeded legs with a shaped frieze support. It has panelled sides and its original rough hewn panelled back. It is hand and peg joined.

In very good condition with a lovely colour to the oak and good original patination it measures:

27" high X 18" deep X 50" wide
