Description

This is a fabulous, most characterful hardwood Zanzibar trunk which dates from around 1860. The charming box is beautifully studded in an appealing design with numerous brass headed studs and has its original solid brasshasp and strapwork to the corners. The box has lovely proportions that would serve many situations or uses and is raised on neat, solid turned bun feet. The box measures 100 cms long 38 cms high by 42 cms deep.
