Small Inlaid 18c Chest Coffer Coffee Table

18th century
Description

Small inlaid 18th Century chest or coffer. Probably Italian and made of Cypress wood. Would make a great small coffee table. Great decorative marquetry!

Solid, heavy and strong, with no loose joints.

Full of character and rustic country charm. Great paw feet!

Overall maximum dimensions:

76cm wide, 38cm deep, 40cm high, internally 60cm long, 28cm wide, 28cm high.

Some extinct woodworm as would be expected, that have been treated for good measure. There is no key and the lock is untested. Later hinges.

As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations.
