An Early 19thc Silver Trunk

Description

An early 19thC silver trunk the brass lock stamped HOBBS. The interior is void. Well constructed with dovetailed joints, substantial iron corner cappings and double side lifting handles. Very nicely shaped brass hook and eye catches to the lid. Brass hinges and brass folding lid stay.

The pine carcass is scumble painted with a very unusual colour and finish which fits well with todays interiors taste.
