The top lifts up to reveal a large storage area.
The chest is an excellent size, giving a vast amount of storage space. Great in a hallway-or the end of the bed, so a very beautiful and practical piece of antique Georgian furniture.
The overall condition is excellent antique condition. With expected general signs of age and use.
Very solid sturdy and strong.
Having developed a wonderful rich colour and glowing patina.
