19th Century English Military Campaign Box with Liner.

This English antique campaign travelling case is in the original black paint finish, it is metal bound with carrying handles to each side. Unusually this antique military box has it's original tin trunk liner, this for extra protection. Made by T.Lambert Ironmonger York, the box has the makers label. It is also painted with the owners name on the front which reads, Lieutenant S.F.Marriner of the West Riding Regiment. This antique military box also has an interesting collection of labels on either end which refer to shipping agents and destinations such as Bombay and Bengal. In very good condition, inside and out.
