Fine Early 19th Century Cabinet Makers Tool Chest

Description

Good early 19th century large size Cabinet makers tool chest in very good condition for age. The tool chest is in very nice original condition. All the outside black finish is original with rope handles to the sides. The fully fitted inside is fitted out in mahogany. The inside of the lid has a beautifully grained mahogany veneer. The chest has four sliding lift out trays on the back side with a sliding lid underneath with a large moulding plane compartment at the bottom. The front side has one lift out tray at the top with a large lift out saw box beneath, again with sliding lid beneath that and another moulding plane compartment at the bottom. The box has its original lock but no key. There is no rot, worm or other damage to the bottom of the box at all.
