Description

A 19thC oak brass bound trunk suitable as a coffee table or lamp table at the end of a sofa.

Possibly originally for military use as the brass hinges are by HORNE a manufacturer associated with fittings for military trunks. Good original brass side carrying handles, original iron lock. Original brass lock escutcheon with cover cap . Brass corner bandings.

80 cms wide by 50 cms deep and 58.5 cms high.
