This attractive EARLY 18th OAK COFFER or CHEST has split-turned moulding decoration along with a geometrical central panel and dates from circa 1720.

Raised on four turned bun feet, which are of later date, the Chest has panelled sides and back.

Adding to the interest, the CHEST is lined with an 1826 Methodist Circuit Paper from Fakenham in Norfolk.
