A mid 19thC military camphor wood travelling trunk. A great size for a coffee table ! Made for use on campaign for the military of camphor wood ( kept the moths away from uniforms ). Brass corner caps and strapping.Brass lock, escutcheon and blank name plate to the top.Original brass hinges and substantial side lifting handles.
