Georgian Oak Antique Mule Chest

Full of the Charm and Character That You Would Expect to Find from an Antique and dating from around 1770 in the Georgian period. This charming mule chest has a lift up lid with oval decorative brass key escutcheon and key with working lock. The front has four raised fielded panels with two oak lined moulded drawers with brass handles. Standing on shaped bracket feet this lovely chest has panelled sides and back and the oak has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, the usual old repairs and is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
