The top lifts up to reveal the original candle box, iron lock, and strap hinges.
The chest is an excellent size, giving a vast amount of storage space. Great in a hallway-or the end of the bed, so a very versatile piece of furniture as it can literally go
anywhere in the house.
The overall condition is excellent antique condition. With expected general signs of age and use.
