A mid 19th century Camphor wood trunk bound in a rich dark green leather with decorative brass stud work. The trunk is the largest of the sizes produced and would have been used as a officers travelling trunk. The trunk having all of the original fittings including hinges. large brass carrying handles, lock and key. Superb original piece, would make a fabulous coffee table. Circa 1850
