Description

Eastern inlaid mahogany (or similar locally sourced hardwood) coffer mule chest ottoman log basket.

Would look great in the right location.

This is a beautiful item, with a lovely age and colour.

Heavy, solid, with no loose joints.

We are unsure of the age of this item, but think that it could be late 19th Century or early 20th Century.

Separates into two parts for transport.

Strong brass loops are fitted to both sides for lid stay cords (no cords fitted).

Lovely proportions and Eastern styling... a great look.

We have a key for the chest, but no keys for the drawers (and these locks are consequently untested).

Maximum overall dimensions 120cm wide, 69cm deep, 100cm high.

Internal dimensions 103cm wide, 53cm deep (front to back), 47cm high (inc. candle box space)

As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations.
