This is an 18th Century coffer with later alteration.
Overall dimensions 165cm wide, 63cm deep, 87cm high.
There is (as is always the case) some historic woodworm that we have treated for good measure. There is no key or lock. Later softwood rear panels have been added, also there has been strengthening and repairs/alterations to the lid / hinges.
As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations.
