18th Century Antique Lake District Mule Chest.

This is a fabulous, early 18th century period oak mule chest, in superb, original condition.

The top section has a lift up lid with geometric designs to the front, this is over two drawers which have moulded drawer fronts.

The back and sides are also moulded and finished so maybe this George the First antique oak mule chest was designed to free stand awat from the wall.

Dating from around 1715 and from the Lake District regon in England.

A great colour and a very useful piece of period oak furniture.

Width: 137cm (53.94")

Depth: 59cm (23.23")
