Antique Oak Coffer, This antique 18th century oak coffer blanket chest is made of solid English oak and is of pegged joint construction the three panels to the front are decorated with carved diamond shaped motifs and has three plain panels to the top, The bottom has had a iron strap going under the coffer for support this looks like it would have been done over 100 years ago, There is some old woodworm in the bottom which we have retreated,
