Description

A most attractive solid camphorwood general purpose storage trunk dating from the late 19th/early 20th century. It retains its original lifting handles to each end, and there is a simple plinth base support. It is of exposed dovetail construction with the lift-up lid opening to reveal a useful single storage compartment. This good quality trunk would be ideal as a low table. It is English, and it dates from c.1890 – c.1910.
