Description

An interesting French travelling trunk with the owners cartouche ' E Doremus a Paris ' This is thought to be Estelle Emma Skidmore Doremus 1830-1905 who was a prominent American figure in French society and later well known in New York City USA.

Brass studded with steel edging and corner caps. Brown canvas and beech batons Original lining with tray. Large brass catches to the front. Great size for a coffee table or for bedroom storage.

90 cm wide by 48 deep and 44 cm high.
