An 18thc Oak Mule Chest of the Perfect Size

Description

An 18thC oak four panel mule chest with two drawers. The whole of a lovely colour and perfect size for a hall being narrow in depth.

The original top has a thumbnail moulded edge and a good patina this lifts to reveal storage space. Original iron hinges and elm plank base. The front is panelled with two drawers below which are designed to appear as four spice drawers. Stile feet. Iron lock. Some mouldings have been lost from the drawer fronts and sides over the years but this does not detract the eye from the overall pleasing look of this practical piece.
