Victorian 19th Century Concave Upholstered Blanket Box

Description

Shaped upholstered needlepoint ottoman or blanket box. This ottoman is full of age, charm and character. So rare with concave sides. The upholstery is recent, with little wear and only light marks. Internally it has remnants of an old paper lining. Victorian 19th Century origins. A very rare find. No significant woodworm.

We have not inspected beneath the upholstery. Possibly has later hinges and one foot is chipped (not very noticeable, on the inside).

Overall maximum dimensions: 53cm long, 52cm wide, 45cm high.
