A really fantastic early 20th century steamer trunk made by the renowned luggage manufacturers Crouch & Fitzgerald of New York, USA. It doubles as a marvellous coffee table as it doesn''t have access to the interior through a top lift-up lid; instead there is a hinged fall front which opens down to reveal two full-width storage drawers with their original leather strap handles. The canvas coated outer surface is adorned with stitched leather trims to all edges, and rivetted wooden slats to the top.
