Description

A stunning pair of octagonal shaped candlesticks by the the creme de la creme of English silversmith's, Elkington & Company.

Always one of the most popular designs of candlesticks as they are covered in superb engraved decoration but still being so easy to keep clean with their smooth surface. Each has been engraved with a very elegant initial "N".

Being Elkington, the mark on each comes complete with a date letter, allowing us to accurately date them to 1851.

Excellent condition, solid and heavy, with the base measuring 5" and standing 10" tall.
