Coffer Chest Blanket Box Arts and Crafts Solid Elm C1920

Here we have a most magnificent Arts and crafts solid Elm chest c1930. As you can see the chest has outstanding colour and patina. This breathtaking chest has stunning traditional construction of the medieval period. It is made from single planks of Elm with all the delicious grain you would expect from this wood. There are single planks to the top, bottom and sides of the chest with the front one being two inches thick. The hand forged iron work is both solid and spectacular. This complete one off coffer has been cut from an enormous Elm tree. The dimensions are fantastic for great storage. A wonderful and unique piece in fantastic retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 70.5 inches long 27 high and 22 deep.

Here we have a fine Edwardian inlaid Mahogany display table or bijouterie table c1910. As you can see the table has lovely and patina. This particular table has the benefit of glass on all sides which lets in a great amount of light perfect for display. The top has an inlaid Satinwood banding and a thumb moulded edge. There is a beaded moulding to the edge of the glass which is replicated on all sides. The interior appears to have the original crushed velvet lining. There is an original working lock and key. The under tier has slender tapered legs with a a central tier also with inlaid decoration. A fine table in excellent retail condition. The dimensions are approx 24 inches wide 28 high and 15 deep.
