This Welsh period oak antique mule chest dates from the mid 18th century, around 1740-50.
The front features three raised and shaped panels over three moulded drawers.
All the drawers have their original brass swan neck handles.
The patination and colour is very good all over and the condition of this antique mule chest is superb.
It stands proudly on shaped bracket feet and has chamfered corners with an unusual inscribed zig-zag design.
