A unusual late Victorian Trunk. The trunk is made by H.C.Faber & Son of Utica, New York. The trunk made in solide wood is covered in painted cloth, and hide straps. The box bears the original label inside which describes it as a theatrical trunk, although on the outside it has some labels relating to a show called ''showboat Express'' The trunk is of a good furnishing size and the colour is pleasing. The inside is intact and retains its lining in a detached form where the last owner removed it to clean. The trunk is in good order apart from the main lock is missing. The previous lady owner did say Julie Andrews had used at one point but this cannot be confirmed. C.1900
