Oak Silver Chest with Fitted Interior

Description

substantial iron bound oak silver chest, the interior fitted with chamois leather covered compartments on a lift out tray with similarly fitted base, large iron handles to each side, working lock and key and even still retains traces of sealing wax on the front where extra security has been needed !!.

a real piece of functional antique furniture, the fitted interior can be removed to provide more storage space and this super chest would also make a great coffee or side table.
