An OSHKOSH American cabin trunk of fine quality straight from the era of luxury steamer travel. This the American counter to Louis Vuitton. Extremely sturdy in its construction the extrior scuffed and very well repaired in places showing how the owner valued this item. One drawer is possibly missing and has been replaced by a shelf which if the trunk is to be used in a bedroom as storage is extremely useful for a clock, glasses etc.The quailty of the fittings is superb and the interior is clean and very useable perhaps in an apartment. Turned on its side it would also make an extremely decorative coffee table.There are roller casters to the base and a strong intact original handle to the top. The lock has been deactivated but could be revived.

107 cms high by 64 by 58 and when fully open as awardrobe 92cms wide.
