A large and well carved early Charles 1 West Country marriage coffer. the front carved with the initials AM and AW and dated in the centre 1624 . The top with 4 panels . This coffer is of large proportions with well carved wide stiles and would have been one of the most prized possessions of this early Carolean couple

Size 60ins w 24 d 29 h / 153 cm w 61 d 74 h
