Here we have a stunning solid Elm chest or blanket box. As you can see this chest has super colour and grain. The chest is traditionally made using six planks. So there is a single plank to the top base sides and ends. The original bracket feet and moulded edge base are in place. The chest also retains its original strap hinges and hand forged handles. Inside there is a candle or herb box and a single drawer with lock. there is some reeded decoration the the joined sides and the front has its original escutcheon. A superb example of lovely colour and polish ready for your home.
