Camphor Wood Chest - Wonderful Carvings - c1920

This chest is an attractive piece with pleasing hand carving intricately detailed into the camphor wood timber.

Riding upon stepped bracket feet this excellently sized chest is a great example.

The chest is nicely presented with good colour consistent with quality camphor.

Internally the piece is in very clean order and the chest would make excellent storage. The chest benefits from an internal camphor lift-out divider shelf.

Overall a super stylish decorative item which is also a really practical piece of furniture in superb order.
