Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

This Edwardian perfume bottle dates from the 1900 period and combines clear glass with sterling silver. The round body has a cut glass pattern visible through the cut-outs of an ornate embossed silver overlay, featuring detailed scrollwork motifs and a matching decorative cap on a silver collar mount. The metal elements show a polished silver finish alongside the translucent clear glass. Measuring 12 cms tall by 8 cms wide, this decorative vessel sits neatly on a bedside table in a bedroom interior to hold liquid fragrances. The piece demonstrates traditional silversmithing techniques with intricate relief ornamentation on both the cap and body.

Produced between 1901 and 1910, Edwardian silver scent bottles frequently feature delicate scrollwork, foliate motifs, and detailed glass cutting, reflecting the decorative aesthetics of the early twentieth century.

These items typically combine sterling silver tops, collars, or outer overlays with hand-cut lead crystal or moulded glass vessels, secured with internal glass stoppers or threaded lids.

Authentic British pieces bear official assay office hallmarks indicating silver purity, the assay city, date letter, and registered makers mark stamped directly onto the silver collar or lid.

This object can be positioned on a dressing table tray, bedside table, or vanity counter alongside contemporary glass accessories to provide subtle historical detail.

Clean the glass body with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly, while gently cleaning the silver elements with a specialized silver polishing cloth, avoiding full immersion of glued collars.
