Rare Edwardian Silver Emu Pin Cushion

A rare Edwardian solid silver pin cushion with an Emu perched on a shell, hallmarked Birmingham 1910. The solid silver Emu superbly detailed with small rubies forming the eyes and original velvet covered pad to its back forming the pin cushion. The Emu is perched on the side of polished oyster shell with a pearl set to the centre. Turned ebony foot with circular silver mount and stem sat on top, which is supporting the shell. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths and pin cushion specialist Adie & Lovekin along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Presented in superb original condition. Smaller items are shipped by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which includes insurance for the item whilst in transit and a guaranteed tracked delivery.
