Ritas Bazaar has dated these Reticulated Porcelain Cabinet Plates to the Victorian era.

The design features a magnificent, alternating border of pierced reticulated trellis panels and relief-molded, three-dimensional cascading bells and floral pendants—a signature Chelsea motif heavily influenced by the Rococo style. Samson's dedication to quality is evident in the flawless execution, making these plates virtually indistinguishable from their 18th-century counterparts.

The central reserves are exquisitely hand-painted with vibrant exotic birds set against delicate floral sprays. The reverse of each plate bears the distinctive gold anchor mark.
Originally conceived as high-end replicas, these Samson pieces are of such impeccable quality that they have long transcended their initial purpose, becoming highly sought-after collector's items in their own right, comparable in value to the original Chelsea analogies.

The plates measure 24 cm in diameter and 3 cm in height, with a combined weight of 1477 grams. The technique involves hard-paste porcelain casting, intricate piercing, relief molding, and polychrome hand-painting with rich gilding.

The condition is exceptional; the vivid enamels and gilding have been strictly verified under UV light, showing only minor, natural wear to the gold on the raised cascading flowers. Such a pristine set of three is a true rarity on the antique market.
