Antique 18ct Gold Ruby and Diamond Ring

Description

Beautiful Antique 18ct Gold Ruby and Diamond Ring. Very impressive and substantial ring consisting of excellent coloured cushion cut pink red ruby 5mm x 5mm. The ruby is surrounded by a halo of ten sparkly old cut diamonds measuring approx 2.5mm x 2.5mm of 5points each total 0.50ct set into a 18ct gold setting circular setting. The total face of the Ring measures 10mm x 10mm. Ring is in overall very good condition with some wear in accordance with age, the shank is strong. There are no hallmarks but the ring is 18ct and certainly dates to the early 20th century. The ruby in this ring is of exceptional color and the diamonds has the soft twinkling light of antique old cuts. overall a very pretty and wearalble. This ring is size UK N and US 6.5 Weight 2.6g
