Art Deco Green Jade and Diamond Platinum Pendant Necklace | 15.75"

Description

This superb Art Deco diamond-and-carved-jade panel necklace dates to circa 1920. At the centre of this piece is an elongated carved natural Jadeite panel. The jade displays a highly sought-after vibrant apple-green colouration with organic swirls of lighter and darker green hues. The jade panel is elegantly suspended from a stepped geometric bale set with pavé-set old-cut diamonds and beautiful milgrain detailing, which gracefully hangs from a platinum chain secured with a push-lock fastener.

Jade is most valued for its metaphysical properties. It is the ultimate "Dream Stone" revered in ancient cultures as well as today, to access the spiritual world, gain insight into ritualistic knowledge, encourage creativity and dream-solve.
