Art Nouveau 1.10 Carat Emerald, Natural Pearl & Diamond Pendant, Circa 1905

Description

An attractive Art Nouveau pendant set with two natural emeralds, rose cut diamonds and natural saltwater pearls. At the heart of the pendant is a round, vibrant, Brazilian emerald, framed by sweeping gold curves decorated with seed pearls and rose cut diamonds. A smaller triangular emerald sits above, while three suspended natural (not cultured) pearl drops complete the design.

On an 18 inch 9k yellow gold chain.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from WGI.

Cut:  Round and triangular emeralds and rose cut diamonds.

Colour:  The diamonds are G to H.

Clarity:  The emeralds are lightly included. The diamonds are SI1.

Carat:  The total emerald carat weight is approximately 1.10. The total approximate diamond carat weight is 0.07.

Circa:  1905.

Measurements:  From the top of the top emerald to the bottom of the large pearl is 34.9mm. The pendant is 20.9mm at the widest point.

Weight:  4.60 grams.

Metal:  The pendant is stamped '585' indicating 14k gold. The chain is 9k gold.
