Description

A gorgeous pair of late 19th century French sapphire earrings crafted in 18k rose gold. The principal sapphires, which appear to be later replacements, display a vivid teal-blue colour, and are certified as natural, unheated and originating from Madagascar. The stones are held in ornate crown collets with small, dark blue sapphire accents.

Fitted with hinged hooks.

Accompanied by an GFCO Gemstone Identification Report.

Clarity:  Loupe clean.

Carat:  The principle sapphires are 1.13 and 1.03 carat.
