Penderyn Antiques has dated this Arts and Crafts Oak Desk to the 1910s.
The front comprises a central drawer flanked by a pair of panelled cupboard doors, each incorporating a circular glazed window with decorative lattice detailing and turned wood decoration. The cupboards open to reveal fitted shelving, with two shelves to the left-hand cupboard and one to the right. The desk is raised on turned bun feet to the front and block feet to the rear. The drawer and both cupboards are complete with working locks and keys.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition, commensurate with age and use. The green leather writing surface has wear consistent with age and previous use, including some surface marks. The original gilded decoration has been rubbed in areas, with further minor marks and scratches throughout. The oak retains a good warm colour and attractive natural grain. The cupboards and drawer open correctly and are complete with their working locks and keys. Overall, a lovely and unusual example with good decorative detail and practical configuration.
