Pair Regency Bronze and Marble Candlesticks

Description

This elegant PAIR OF REGENCY BRONZE AND MARBLE CANDLESTICKS date from circa 1830.

The juxtaposition of the bronze and marble works well.

The bronze has a beautiful patina and the marble is gentle and retiring.

Each Candlestick is raised on a Classical Triform Paw Foot.

The Candlesticks seem to have lead an exciting life and have a few battle scars. One corner of the marble base has been repaired and there are a few chips to the marble.

They will give many more years of pleasure and at £325 are not a King’s Ransom.

Width: 4.5 inches (11.5 cm)
