An impressive William IV rosewood glazed bookcase of elegant proportions and superb decorative appeal. The bookcase stands upon a shaped plinth base with bracket feet, the lower section fitted with two doors featuring beautifully figured Rio rosewood panels, displaying exceptional colour and grain.

The upper section is enclosed by a pair of glazed doors, incorporating distinctive Gothic-style astragal glazing bars. The doors open to reveal three adjustable shelves, providing ample and versatile storage for books, objets d’art or a fine collection.

The bookcase is finished with a shaped cornice, adding further elegance to its architectural form. The rich rosewood timbers and Gothic-inspired glazing combine to create a particularly striking example of William IV furniture.

The bookcase comes in three sections for ease of transport and installation and is presented in good condition.
