Description

A fine quality small silver tea caddy of bombe shape with plain polished walls and stylish cast gadrooned bands around the foot and the top of the shoulders. The hinged domed cover has a serpentine shaped front. Gilded inside. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1907, maker William Hutton & Sons Ltd. Lovely for use as a trinket box or bonbonniere as well.

It measures 7cm (2 3/4") high, 8cm (3 1/8") wide and 5.7cm (2 1/4") deep. It weighs 117g / 3.8ozt.

In very good condition with no holes, split or repairs and only minor signs of age and use. The gilding inside is good as are the hallmarks. It is unengraved.
