A pair of nineteenth-century French Gothic revival candelabra stand in gilt brass and ormolu with a rich gold finish. Each piece rises from an ornate pedestal base supported by scroll feet, featuring a sculpted figure of an angel holding the central stem. Sweeping floral branches decorated with lily flowers extend outwards to hold five multi-light candle sockets fitted with white candles, producing a height of 67 cm and a width of 47 cm. These large-scale candelabra sit comfortably upon a sideboard top, mantelpiece or console table in a dining room, hallway or living room.
