Victorian Star-set Pearl Gold Crescent Earrings

Description

Beautiful nine-carat gold drop earrings with classic Victorian celestial syling - a trio of pearls mounted in starflower settings on a crescent-shaped frame. Each earring suspends a small baroque pearl dangle, which creates a lovely sense of movement.

• Condition: Excellent antique condition.

• Fixing: Nine-carat gold ear wires, supplied with tiny silicone "keepers" to pop on the ends for security.

• Hallmarks: None. The wires may be a later replacement for earlier fittings which would have been stamped/hallmarked.

• Era: Estimated late Victorian/Edwardian (c.late 1800s-1914).

• Size: 2 x 2.6cm, including the wires.

• Weight: 4.7g.
