Philip Hunt Antiques has dated this Burr Walnut Writing Desk to the 1900s.
A stunning burr walnut Queen Anne style desk of exceptional quality and character.
Of inverted form, the desk is fitted with seven mahogany-lined drawers, each displaying wonderfully figured burr walnut veneers and complemented by decorative pierced brass drop handles.

The generous top is centred by a three-section leather writing surface, which is a replacement, featuring hand-applied gilt and blind tooling. The top is further enhanced by attractive walnut crossbanding, adding to the desk's refined appearance.
