Antique Burr Walnut Leather Top Pedestal Desk

1920 - 1940
Description

A beautiful antique burr walnut leather top pedestal desk. This is in the Georgian style, it dates from around the 1930’s.

The quality is superb, this has a beautiful inset leather writing surface with tooled edges. There are amazing burr walnut grain patterns throughout including the back, which is nicely finished so this can be used as a free standing item. This stands on short cabriole legs with shell carving, and contains lots of storage space inside the generous drawers.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.

Depth – 22 inches , 56 cm

Height – 30 inches , 76 cm

Knee height – 23.5 inches , 60 cm

Knee width – 18 inches , 45 cm
