Description

Size: 3ft 5in x 3ft 3in (103 x 100cm).

Antique Turkish Bergama rug of small square size, the rug has an interesting all over diamond lattice design.

Circa 1900.

The rug has a fine lattice design on a warm caramel coloured ground, each diamond could be seen as a small flowering shrub. The white ground border is of a classic Bergama design; these small rugs are often considered to dowry weavings or having a connection to weddings.

The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and medium pile.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
